Formation of Hexagon Pine AG: A Joint Venture in Ammonia Trade
Hexagon Pine AG will be headquartered in Zug, Switzerland and is planning to enter the international ammonia market.
Says Mr. Christian Wendel, President of Hexagon Group: “We are proud and happy to work together with two such high caliber partners in a product that has been familiar to our executives for many years. We have traded ammonia as Hexagon every year since the inception of the company; with our new partners, however, our aim is to establish Hexagon Pine AG as a regular participant in this market.”
Mr. Wallace Leong, Executive Director at Pine Energy Pte Ltd added that “at Pine Energy we are excited to expand our energy trading portfolio”, he continued “we see promising potential in ammonia trading, short and mid-term predominantly in the fertilizer industry, but down the road also as part of the clean energy transition.”
